The aim of the bachelor thesis was to carry out an analysis of the procedure of selecting and placing new employees in the company Výstaviště České Budějovice a. s.. The bachelor thesis is particularly focused on identification of resources for selection of new employees, recruitment process system, placing new employees both from the view of working and social adaptation, and further education of employees. The first part of this thesis summarizes theoretical information on planning of human resources, analysis and description of working positions, methods of recruitment, methods of selection of employees, and placing new employees from the view of working and social adaptation. Further, the company, its history, size, and a number of employees are characterized here. Description of the process of recruiting, selecting, placing, and further education of employees was the first part of the own thesis. On the basis of this description, I carried out an analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the process and carried orut an assessment and proposals for improvement.
Recruitment and selection of pedagogical employees in kindergarten

The diploma thesis deals with the personnel management practices of recruitment and selection of employees. The theoretical part provides a brief description of the development of human resources management and an outline of the constituent personnel management practices. The steps undertaken by an organisation in the process of recruitment of employees are described thoroughly, from identifying job openings till designing and publishing a job advertisement. The main methods of employee selection are mentioned, followed by a more detailed description of the selection interview. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the field of pre-primary education. It examines the current circumstances of recruitment and selection of pedagogical employees in selected kindergartens in Prague. It investigates which methods and techniques are used in these personnel management practices and it scrutinizes the factors that influence them. The results of the inquiry show that the recruitment and selection of pedagogues are executed on an adequate level in the selected schools. The schools use their internal capacities to perform these tasks and they apply a combination of methods. Personal risks at director's work in nursery school

The final thesis deals with human resources, which is one of the basic management functions. Knowledge of the basic managerial functions is an important prerequisite for high-quality managerial skills of a kindergarten principal. It is important to point out that the kindergarten management is currently much more responsible for running of the kindergarten than in the past. The thesis involves an analysis of the current status of the selected HR activities - recruitment, adaptation of employees and thier assessment, training and development. It aims to describe the personal risks for a kindergarten principal and it proposes changes for improvement. The main method selected for achieving the set objectives is to survey kindergarten managers. Additional technique is an interview. The first part of this thesis focuses on theoretical knowledge in the field of HR at two different levels - basic ine and one that focuses on education. The second, practical part, analyses the process of selected HR activities,describes possible HR risks and summarizes research problem, including proposed changes for improvement.
